I haven't posted here in awhile. They are continuing to tweak things almost every week. I think for the better. For example, all of the slowest characters got a speed boost, enough so that I actually have a new favorite character, and all of them are now playable from an old school "I wanna go fast" perspective.

My new favorite is Scalebearer. I love that he has a lot of health and his ability (Bull Rush) is pretty darn useful for taking people out.

I mostly play FFA and he's great for that. On a side note they really need to get the voice actor to re-record some of the really lame stuff. The worst is when you plow through multiple people it gives you the choo-choo award which is great and hilarious but is ruined by the voice saying "chew. chew." in the slowest most lame way possible. HAHAHA

My verdict so far is: Yes. This will be a good game and worth playing and maybe worth upgrading for.

I still want them to brighten models more, make rockets more visible and footsteps more audible.
Also, for some reason when I shoot the lg, the shaft is invisible. Haven't been able to figure that one out yet. Nyx and the quick invisibility and wall hop is my fav.

The lightning gun shaft thing should have been fixed on this past update. It was a known bug.

It still does it for me as of last Saturday, has there been an update since then?

Yes, if you look at the patch notes for CBT 6.5 it says this:

- Fixed an issue where the Lightning Gun shaft would disappear.

Also last week they had this:

- Ambient sounds in Blood Covenant are now quieter
- 3D step sounds have increased distance
- 3D step sounds of enemies are now louder than allies

So they are listening. Make sure you do the surveys at the end of each weekend, as that's how they are getting the info to know what to fix.
